This is a joint blog shared by 2 lazy pple - Ciping & Wilbur, who wishes to use each other to maintain the blog. Sadly, Ciping is the more inactive one and Wilbur does most of the work in the end. Feel free to post comments on the tag-board, it feels good to know pple are actually reading and responding to your posts. It gives motivation to write more.
Wednesday.. is THE day. I always get tough match ups. There're 6 lanes, but I'm pushed to lane 7 since there're a lot of competitors for my event, the 1st indication of a tough fight. For my heats, I'm up against NJ, RJ, HC, SR, TP and CJ, if I'm not wrong . The top 3 schools are already in my heats, and the others are quite strong too. I'll be satisfied if I get a good race, if everything goes smoothly, then I'll probably not lose by too much.
But look on the bright side, I get to miss a day of lessons, and probably the next 2 days too since some of the yr2s would qualify and probably make it to the finals.
Trained hard today. Last day of water training before I take a few days break to prepare for my competition. THinking back, we've really made a lot of progress. From repeated capsizing, we're now able to sprint and row with our max strength, although the boat is not very straight or stable yet. I believe it'll get better next year.
