Why the title is so, is that, the 'surprises' I received did not fall on my birthday itself, but rather, during the week.
Of course I received pleasant surprises such as a nice mango cake from my class on my birthday.
But for a bit more 'unpleasant surprise', it happened on the next day.
For all those who ever wished to see me wet and helpless and in a pond at the same time, you have gotten your wish.
