This is a joint blog shared by 2 lazy pple - Ciping & Wilbur, who wishes to use each other to maintain the blog. Sadly, Ciping is the more inactive one and Wilbur does most of the work in the end. Feel free to post comments on the tag-board, it feels good to know pple are actually reading and responding to your posts. It gives motivation to write more.
More and more people are ponning lectures to study. Ironic, but give me that anytime man. The relaxed atmosphere of studying whenever you want to versus a teacher stuffing formulae into your notes. (note i did not say brain)
Well I realise that sometimes I really really just can't keep awake. Especially during lectures. I'll feel soo tired and sleepy. For e.g., I might want to copy a solution to a Maths problem. I'll copy 1 line.. my eyes will slowly close, and at the end of that line - some illegible handwriting. Then, wake up - realise what happened - erase - copy again. And the cycle repeats itself.
Today I attempted to show my juniors some videos of the olympic kayak races and some of last years Nationals. But for some inexplicable reason, the colour was inverted and hardly anything could be seen. Still, they were awestruck by what they could make out of the olympic races. Point: those guys are good.
Well, hopefully this batch of year 1s are able to achieve what our batch and the previous batch couldn't achieve. They seem quite promising and hardworking, and of course, they also have much more support and guidance than we ever did.
I spent close to 3 hours at the gym today. I guess over the past year I've learnt so many variations of exercises I can't finish at one go so quickly anymore. And I was mistaken to be an ex-student by a PE teacher who was training his ex-student.
He said I looked old.
Hmmm.
